As I reflect on what I learned in EEND679A: Assess and Implement student achievement with technology, I can say I gained much. In this class, we learned about current assessment tools that teachers are using to enhance technology in learning in their classrooms. I learned about padlet, wakelet, gimkit, rubristar, and more! Our discussions in class were always helpful. I love finding out what other teachers are doing and what works for kids. As we descend from the pandemic, I want to try and get my students off of technology as much as possible. However, taking this course allowed me to see how it can enhance the classroom at times and make it more fun! For example, I teach sophomore vocabulary words, that have Greek roots. They have a workbook and tests every other week. Boring stuff, right? I try my best to give them activities and display the word walls, so make the vocabulary fun and prepare them for the tests.
